• Johnson's wing time is filled by Clark and Brayshaw rolling through.

• Elimination of 50:50 mid:wing role allows new role in the side - Swingman Cox. Cox plays forward whenever Jackson rucks or one of Amiss or Treacy are off the field.
• Benefits to Swingman Cox include:
  • Maintaining 3 tall forwards structure at all times throughout the game.
  • Improved injury redundancy on game day for talls.
  • Cox can play an interceptor role rather than lockdown when playing back if desired i.e 3 KPD.
  • It gets the next most AFL ready player we have available into the side (Draper).

I think this is pretty realistic lineup for R1, given JLo is slightly conservative + giving the young guys a chance. I would prefer to see Omerara dropped and Switta as sub but that ain't going to happen.

I dont want O'Meara anywhere near best 22. If we get Baker Id play him half forward and Freddy wing. If we dont then Chapman to the wing and Wagner into the team.
