I don’t post much here because someone has usually said what I want to say but more succinctly.

But on this subject of best 22* I feel let down by all of you because of the lack of talk that I can see on this subject. This is a reminder to posts yours here pre draft then again post draft with significant optimism.

Mods please card anyone who post their opinion on the team sheet with a terrible and/or regional deviant format.

My first attempt not including any draft picks:

I dislike the above but think that’s what the club picks (but they probably play Turner over Jefferson) and our midfield depth is a huge concern we need to address this draft.

Bring in Smith/Langdon and Reid/some other mid with 5 and 9 because we have a no options in the middle.

Key changes would be Petty back, a smaller forward line and Windsor more inside than just pure wing.

Not picking Salem unless he has a great preseason.

Would love to see Jefferson push for a spot ahead of Turner but he's no guarantee.

I like your ideal side better than my suspected side. Petty down back makes a lot more sense.

Several spots available for those early picks if they can outperform the likes of Howes and AMW

This is one I put together a couple of months back. Petty back for mine. Tmac is stiff but I think it’s the way to go.
Whilst I’m not convinced on Salem as sub I think if he can’t improve on last year (maybe was injured as lacked any penetration in his kicking). Not convinced he’ll be a sub but can’t see him totally out of the side.
Jefferson another I’m unsure of. I’ve left him out. Originally had him in but put Melksham back in.

We were only a bit off our best. With one of our own leading the club now, Goody will have the security and peace of mind to nurture his boys, such as Oliver, back to their best. Couple of tweaks to our premiership formula and we're back.
