Might not be our best mid, but as an accountable and physical player he's just about our most important. The bodywork on Bont who usually monsters us was beautiful to watch.

When I first heard about Durham spending some time in the midfield preseason, I didn't think too much would come of it. I just thought we'd have another player to send through in rotations. The way he's going though - he could become one of our main mids in time. I always knew he had a willingness to get down and scrap but didn't necessarily think he had the ball winning ability or nous to be a full time mid.

He could be our answer in the George Hewett

mould in time - the guy who can play a defensive role on the bigger, stronger best midfielders of the opposing team whilst still contributing offensively. The best part is he has a terrific tank so there's no worries there.
