No one except a pie supporter would pick quanor over Chapman. Chapman gets in ahead of Bowey too.

The other two people who posted teams didn't have quanor in it.
The original poster didn't even have quanor as a Collingwood potential player.
No one else has even mentioned quanor. Your bias is showing.

Personally not sure how you can list Aaron Naughton as eligible and not have him in.
You have Georgiadis at CHF who has 15 goals for the year while Naughton has 42. If eligible, he has to be in. Knowing your posting (i.e. that you have a pretty good idea most of the time), I assume just an oversight - like Bailey Smith being twice (I aslo wonder if he serves a place at all now given it is a team of the year and the amount of football he may end up missing?).
Not completely biased in my view - Quaynor would absolutely be in the mix (as would Chapman and Bowey). Pretty close calls with Quaynor having been a very high level half back flanker this year.
Posters not having the player who is 10th for intercept possessions in the entire competition this year is a bigger indictment on them than me.

Good side. You have Newcombe twice. Tough to pick who replaces with so many good choices but reckon Chad Warner is a good option with the season he is having.

This may sound harsh but it's almost one of the poorer midfields we have seen outside the top 2 (Walsh and Brayshaw).
LOTS of flankers and small forwards but the midfielders is one of the weakest we must have seen in the 22U22
I suppose so - compared to how ridiculously strong some past years were in that regard.
With that said, some of the 'big name' midfields of yesteryear featured players who were recognised guns but may be having down years by their standards. This season you have a lot of the opposite where non big names are having better seasons than people realise.
Guys like Chad Warner, Tom Green and Jai Newcombe are all having pretty strong years in the middle and would in their sides best 2 mids of 2022.
I still think a midfield of Brayshaw, Walsh, Smith, Serong, Warner, Newcombe, Green (with all the flankers you highlighted rotating) would be a top 6 midfield in 2022 at the very least (though I know past years may have been a clear top 2-3 midfield).

Yeah I'd pick Chad Warner as well, if you can't have 2 Newcombes this is the closest you're going to get.

That midfield looks strong to me. But what gets me is how crazy balanced it is. Has everything and almost every player brings a POD as well.
Maybe individually it isn't as strong but as a unit/collective I think it would go okay.

I think serong is a bit stiff to miss
Ave: 25d 5 clearance 5 score involvements 5 tackles 70%+ eff
He gets forgotten with Brodie and brayshaw doing so well this year.
Holmes deserves to be in the expanded squad. Caldwell and Noah Anderson good enough to make the team IMO. Also think that Clark with his role at Freo would make a strong case to be in the 22.

Kosi Pickett so over-rated.
Tom Green and Chad Warner are 2 of the best young midfielders in the game.
IMO both should be in the starting side.
Izak Rankin stiff. If he finishes the season well I'd have him in.
