We were offering 800k over 5 years and they decided to hold off. He is not getting paid close to that at Melbourne. Rama had the biggest hissy fit when we reneged after his form dropped and he got injured. It was poor management not to advise Brown to take the original offer, which was very good. They got greedy basically.

I've tried to do the podcast thing but it just isn't really for me. However, if you're looking to pop your podcast cherry, I can highly recommend The Greatest Season That Was: 1993. The second episode charts the rise of the young Kangas. Good listening.
