From what I am hearing, I don't think we can be too upset that he has chosen to leave.

A combination of money, lack of opportunity and the club coming to the party late really tipped the balance.

The reality is though Collingwood need him more than us, so as long as we get a decent deal it could be a win/win IMO.

The problem is he wouldn't have been worth that offer 3 months ago. He's only worth that offer after the season he has had. People thought he was borderline going to be traded or delisted last year if they remember? Unfortunate situation, but don't blame the club for this.
