There are two Durdins playing surely. The lazy one who needs to be off the list ASAP and the one that goes balls out and needs to stay for ten years.

Fatigue? Had some brilliant patches and then looked like absolutely not giving a shit. Can only explain by effects of fatigue? A conundrum.

thought he looked good today. presented well took a couple nice marks. was unlucky not to be awarded one at one stage aswell. going to be interesting to see what we do with him and mckay who will be fwd who will be back

Durds was really good.

Reckon that headclash with McKay will actually do him the world of good. Hos mates seemed to really get around him after that. Nothing like splitting your face open to win the respect of your team mates.

It was a funny game by Durdin. Played really well at times, good hands and agility. But at other times just let Walker mark almost uncontested. Maybe due to lack of strength or laziness.
Either way, think building up some body strength over the preseason will work wonders.

Durds is laconic and goofy. I guess Lachie hasn't left as we have just replaced him with Durds.
Durds seems more of a natural forward and a better decision maker than Loogie.

I would suggest lack of body strength and him playing to his strengths, which was on the lead, almost Riedwoldt like in his roaming up the ground and his disposal tally.

I would leave both McKay and Durdin where they are for next pre-season.

I'd like to see both spend time at either end and see how it plays out. Both can have a run in the ruck too.

We need a bit of versatility. Tarrant is staying back, Brown forward.

Can play. Another big pre-season would be good.
How good was that pick up across half forward on the half volley, clean as.
He was at his best in the third term, really played a huge role in the burst.

His 1st quarter was shizen when he basically got in Brownys way all the time. He looked out of place playing deep and looked much better as the match went on and he got out in to space. Poleaxed McKay when he should have stayed down. Needs to learn when to fly and when to stay down.

Hit the ball hard and presented well.

Durdin a forward and McKay a back going forward but its good that they both can go both which gives us great flexibility in the future when we need to mix it up.

I don't think McKay is an option as a forward.

It's night and day.

Barely gets 5 touches in the forward line, looks like a star in the making sitting behind the ball.

Some players are just more comfortable behind the ball and reading the play there.

He looms as a fantastic Taz replacement.
