The words "ongoing soreness" to me are much more concerning than "general soreness"

Nah, no shock at all. He had a massive hip injury early last year/late 2019 I can't remember which. So why push the kid now when its less than 2 years since that op? Especially after he's pushed himself so hard.

Its way better to be cautious anyway if there is the potential for his hips to cause him problems. Especially if Polec is doing 3 months for a hammy.

Put him in the paddock for the rest of the 2021 season. Hes miles ahead of what we were hoping for and an absolute gun. No risk policy with groin injuries if that is the case

Could be OP/Hip related. Might be getting sore where he had the injury in 2019. Could be nothing, could be something so ease the load and get him extremely well checked out physically.

I doubt we'll see him for the rest of the season. Just a hunch

Well to be honest he had a great run and iam more than happy with what he has shown. Tiny injury setback but this bloke just needs keep putting on a little bit of condition. Has plenty of upside.
