Reckon “sending him to the cleaners” would have been a massive dent to his ego, regardless of his guilt or innocence, and he is trying to escape. Add-in the fact his manager did the same thing with JHF and I don’t think we should be too surprised if he wants out.

Can’t believe people are surprised he’s looking around.
Entirely predictable.

It’s in everyone’s best interest he played well to finish the year and push his value up for him and us.

Its business.

Supporters get sucked into the sentiment of how he seems on field with his teammates. All part of the show.

Pulled his finger out to increase his chances at another club.

If he really wants/needs a fresh start, I won't hold it against him. He has disgraced himself a bit at the roos and it could be tough for him there .

The only reason we would pay to send him off is if he has a few more skeletons in hiding. The club knows him. I don't. I'll trust their judgement.
Club recruiters aren't casual footy viewers, they know what he's capable of.

As much as we supporters are angry about this put yourselves in the shoes of his teammates who have been sold down the river again. I’m thinking this is not recoverable if true. Bye Tarryn. Picks please.

If Tarryn decides to go. Which is a big if, it says plenty about him as a person.

The club has stuck by him through a hell of a lot. If he still wants to head off and talk to other clubs about potentially jumping ship, thats really poor, and it has to be the end of the line for his time at North Melbourne.

If it is Essendon, i wouldnt bother with picks, They arent going to give up pick 8. Not a chance.

Id be posing the following:

Either Nik Cox or Zach Reid. Either an old fashioned straight swap, or a swap of late picks to iron it out. It makes plenty of sense for both parties, as these blokes need a fresh start.

There are plenty of attainable players at Essendon at the moment, who fit our needs.

Pick 5 from GC or pick 8 from * and bye bye. I mentioned he’s only another indiscretion from being kicked out earlier. This could be be great for getting another quality long term player without the baggage.

Requested a 3 year extension at $700K a few weeks back. Club hesitant given history and the message it sends.

Now testing market for similar $.

I hate to say it but he’s on 7-800k anyway and based on a good year next year 3 at 700k is a steal. If he was willing to add behaviour clauses all parties could have been left happier and safer.

We might be more open to him going than previously declared.

Not sure I follow.

I think behavioural clauses the sticking point. And that is too much for us.

We want him. But want him to prove he has turned it around for a longer period (ie next year) before re-signing.
