Genuinely optimistic that Mason will come in and come good. Has every tool to become a reliable AFL player with his pace, marking, mobilitiy and a general game nous.

With his move to half back allowing him to fully utilise his skill set, it was only a matter of time before it all came together for him. On the back of two very good VFL games and now allowing him to rest up, the time is now to set him on his way.

I suggested a while ago that this kid could become a mid. Great endurance, tackles hard, good size, skills & perseverance. Does the tough things. Played mid as a jr. some of the time as well.

This kid could be very good for us... if given a chance.

I suspect that Lav will keep his spot until after the bye and Redman won’t get a look in before then.

I really want this kid in the side.
