Swear to god if i see anyone else mention f*cken Logan...
But what about Logan McDonald 😂, what about him
Intimidating Season 4 GIF by The Office

He’s doing enough considering his role. I was disappointed with his hawthorn game because he got plenty of cba’s against an inexperienced/average midfield. The midfield needs his skill, composure and tackling.

Just needs to keep working on his body, endurance and power.

Imagine this kid if he had continuity in his football the past 3 years. He's been desperately unlucky. Just needs game time in the seniors. Kind of reminds me of Cunnington at the start if his time. He'll be an important cog in a potentially awesome midfield in a few years time. I'm just salivating at the thought of what LDU, Simpson, Powell, Sheezel, Wardlaw, Phillips and possibly that fool Thomas might end up being. Throw in this years 2 first rounders and it's scary stuff.

I am interested in what sort of impact the one-two punch Cam Zurhaar and Brayden George can do together across HF and the middle. Not to mention Goater pushing up on a wing and Bergman growing in confidence.

Literally been meaning to say exactly this! Michael Johnson clone in his running style. Was very evident when he was first drafted and I watched him doing laps at training. His running style was so upright, a little like he had pole stuck up his butt, but more so in the sense he was constantly engaging his core muscles as he ran.

I remember reading a book on running once and it specifically championed this approach to running further, faster and with much less overall effort by focussing and engaging on the core muscles.

Will’s core is, or will be building back to an incredibly strong one and once match fit will allow him to run out games better than most but with that burst speed which allows him to apply chase down tackles and evade tacklers himself. He’s an exciting part of our future and I find it mind boggling that he has his detractors after what he’s been through.
The Micheal Johnson comparisons have been coming since we drafted him. Maybe since before we drafted him.

What an odd bit of list management that was. It’s a real flip of the coin to see if it will at all pan out considering what they paid for him.
Including what they lost - Griff, Tucker & their leading goal scorer Lobb.

I reckon they’ve cooked it.

Logue and Darcy Tucker went due to opportunities
Cera left for his partner (?), there was more to what was reported from memory
Lobb is an interesting one as that seemed to be more based on his own perception of himself

I think Logue was also financially lowballed early on too (money being put aside for Jackson) which started the ball rolling on him looking elsewhere. Im didn’t help that he felt he was being played out of position.

Cerra & his partner wanted to head back to Victoria after the Covid mess. Could easily say that’s on Freo for recruiting him (go-home factor etc). They’ve since used the pick 6 they got in that trade on Jye Amiss, a Western Australian.

They’re going struggle to kick goals this year. I had them pushing for top 4, but I’m now thinking they’ll miss finals.

Think that Amiss guy is perfect for them long term…
Thought they may have a slight down year and stabilise in the lower half of the eight, yeah, certainly worse than most people would have expected

Freo board suggests Logue asked for an extension late 22 and got knocked back.

Love Freo, watch every game, but the latest layer Longmuir has added to their game plan is fkd. It's like Noble 2.0. Disappointing because their young midfield and backline are excellent.

I’m glad someone else has picked up on it…..either that or where both idiots 😂

Thinking about that myself. Add TT if we can turn him around and there are 3 impact players that should provide power and skill fort short burst to provide X factor alongside the less dynamic mids like Powell, Philips and Jy.

I rate Jy as pretty dynamic tbh. That side step is a thing of beauty.
