This for me is the biggest takeaway from the game. St Kilda took away what had been our advantage v the pies, our inside game. Highlighted by Clarko also. We need to work out how to beat that quickly.

One thing I thought during the game and since is simply get front position at bounces. Take the spot you want at bounces, hold it and force the other sides mids to stand behind you wherever possible. (Unless you have a thing going where X belts it beyond the clearance.)

McDonald is going to be sent back to Perth and IMO will be out of the league by 2026.
