Just looking at their possible side next week, If Taylor comes back in they'll have a pretty big lineup which could suit us at the G.

Keeffe 204cm
Briggs 201cm
Taylor 196cm
Buckley 195cm
Himmelberg 195cm
Riccardi 195cm
Hogan 195cm
Haynes 193cm (SUB)
Idun 192cm
Given GWS talls would it justify Hayes retaining his position.

No way Clark deserves a spot.

Has been piss poor for the last few months and if our mids aren't on top he's basically a liability.

His game on the weekend does not justify a spot week 1 (13 disposals at 53% eff & 1 clearance) and once again only managed 53% TOG and still looked slow and unfit.

In: Ross, King
Out: Clark, Hayes
Byrnes (Sub)
Copped a heavy cork early in the game.

He is a constant car crash

Just gets pummeled, near on every game he cops something

He throws himself in with little regard for safety. He's not super agile so he tends to go in head first and on hands and knees.

Just seems to get a injury every game he plays - is it his awareness of impact - game awareness - most players brace for contact he seems to cop every injury.
Is his body strong enough for the rigors of the game , for sure he has had some unfortunate injuries but it's getting to the stage where if someone in the team gets a injury it's him.
Has it anything to do with his body development and speed ?

Yep, bit of Kosi about his awareness fo sho.

There's a scary thought, with C&C did we draft a midfield version of Kosi & X?

One lacks awareness and gets impact injuries, the other has skill and tears tissues and breaks down physically.

No this will be a tough one.

Giants team is still stacked with talent all over the place.
They can move it quick and if you watch our game this year they got through us pretty easy at times.

Same issues still apply. We need to break even in the middle at worst.
And don't stink it up with the entries.

Giants Favourites???
Carlton had stars just coming back from injury & rested a lot of them in the 2nd half.
They will be a very different team come finals.
That Giants win was a smokescreen.
Saints have had the wood on the Giants & on the G, with a big fan base, will pummel them.
Hope you're right. I think it'll be tough. If the good Saints show up, we should run over them after a big old fashioned arm wrestle going into the third quarter.
If the bad Saints show up, it'll be a long slow, unskilled grind to a 15-30 point loss.

Anyone had an experience where they've booked Wilson's parking online, then showed up and they couldn't get in because the carpark was full?

I've read a few sh*tty stories and would be p*ssed if that happened on game day

The fact that gws are the best turnover team in the comp right now makes their tall backs a worry. I think we might give up an obscene amount of intercept marks if we go in with King, Sharman and Membrey as our tall options. Sharman may have to miss for one of Hayes or Caminiti due to matchups. Would be stiff and a bitter pill to swallow for Sharman.

Sharman has played best this year when given a role on the oppo’s best intercept marker; Sicily, Stewart etc.

He also applies good pressure, can take a hanger and is one of our best set shots under pressure. He also knows how to lead to the footy.

In reality, if we don’t use the ball well out of the middle, it won’t matter which of our tall forwards we play.
