I’ve found his Analysis to be solid, I found his take on our opening situation pretty in line with what most think.

People are dumping on him because of who he is. I am concerned he will very easily fall in to the Warne trap where he will go all blokey with the wrong commentary group.

I’m not saying he is Richie but I haven’t found him any worse than the rest of them.

Champions Trophy is in February/March, and we only have one more ODI between now and then (in Sri Lanka, the week before the CT starts).

These games are useful for trying a few players out - you'd think Fraser-McGurk has ruled himself out of contention.

I agree, didn't really care about the result, in fact really appreciated some good cricket from Pakistan. For me would like to some interesting contest. So far it's been one interesting game, and a one sided game. Would be nice to see a game that both teams get at least 40 overs in.

There is being disappointed with getting out and then there is carrying on every single time you are out which he pretty much does even moreso these days.
