Feel of all grounds in this best of 3 series, the SCG suits Pakistan best. Tonight I think also Pakistan should have good support as well.

Pakistan have a 2 win, 0 loss , 1 No result record at the SCG in this format, with wins over NZ and South Africa in the 2022 World Cup.

It should be a bit more closer game than people think.

Bit surprised Australia and Pakistan havent ever had a wholly complete fixture here before given the record is tied between the two countries, 12-12 overall in T20I heading into this game.

I got a ticket to tonights game. I thinking it could be a 30,000+ crowd tonight possibly more.

Not sure what the normal price of a ticket for a T20I is

The cheapest ticket for tonights game I could find were $90 for concession and $120 for adult. That cant be right can it?

I'm no ticketing expert, but that sounds expensive!

The SCG website can be a bit hit and go sometimes. I was looking at earlier this morning , im pretty sure the cheapest I could see for concession to adult was ranging between $90-$120. Now a couple of hours later I see this:

Tickets ranging from $23 to $120 in the concession to adult range.

Im gathering the SCG may want to maximise revenues at particular times. If they know tickets aren't going to sell out, they will reduce it closer to game time.

My prediction today for the crowd is going to be about 23k. I actually doubt even if the Sydney general public know this event is on. So I got sucked into paying more than I should, when I could have rocked up to the gates for a lesser price or booked closer to game time (3-4 hours before kick off)

Lesson learnt from my side.

That's crazy for the cheapest tickets - I keep way too many emails and found a few prices for past cricket matches

I know there's generally a difference in cost between men's & women's sports, but my Cat-B ticket to the Women's T20 World Cup final at the MCG was $40

A few years before that, I bought a ticket for a T20 clash in Geelong back in 2017, Aus vs Sri Lanka (double header with the Aus women playing first) - it was a platinum seat & was $82

I know prices increase more than decrease, but $100+ for the cheapest is ridiculous and if they want to know why attendances aren't as high as in years past, just look at ticketing costs

If they want people to pay a premium price they need to be offering a premium product and you'd struggle to describe what we've seen so far as that.
Well I paid $38 for a ticket at the MCG for an ODI, and having been to the SCG a fair few times and paying higher than that before.......the viewer experience at the MCG is better there.

The crowd at the GABBA last night was 14,052 and thats under half capacity. So that should be an indicator given the marketing by CA of what crowds will be in Sydney and Hobart.

The cheapest ticket is not $100. It's $30 for an adult, which is pretty good for an international, IMO.

I got a ticket in the Ponting stand for Monday nights clash and it was $45

It looks like there will be a full 20 over game tonight with some rare good weather in Sydney and no rain on the radar.

Warner has been ok in the comm box so far, but I am not sure about the double breasted suit. Especially without a tie, seems like a sartorial no-no.

It's an odd look, he also wore a brown suit for the first ODI game and copped a bit of stick from the other commentators for it.

That isn't right. For an event that isn't even real cricket. They should be paying you to go.
