It's easy to say that but if that ball swings 2 feet and he edges a wide one to the keeper everyone's on his back wondering why he played at it.
Really he just got an absolute cracker second up. The guy normally bowls big outies and he follows up one that swings a mile with one that starts to swing but then nips back a touch off the pitch to take the top of off. It's just a cracker of a pill and would get a lot of good batsmen out.

Would love to see a breakdown of how Hughes has been out in each of his past, say, twenty innings as a first class opener.
He seems to get caught behind the wicket every time I watch him.
And plenty of plays and misses too.

Watson gets out significantly more often then other batsman just shouldering arms.
The run-rate throughout the match has been, as Jimmy McMillan would say, too damn high.

Whilst the whole NSW/VIC thing has been done and I will not get into that. The Australian team needs more Victorian spirit instead of the soft NSW spirit. Get some Victorian mental toughness in the team.

Well you have to ask why we have so many young guys in state cricket with bad batting techniques. How are they getting to state level with those issues?
Ussie has to keep Punter away from Steyn. He has to for the team's sake.
the problem is someone (ie Ponting) got in Hughes' ear and told him to get rid of the cut shot. 4 tests after getting 100 in both innings last tour here he was dropped.
He's still in two minds about what he's doing in that doorway to departure, he continues to cut with confidence for NSW. Hopefully when ricky ****s off so will that shot.
