Who nose mate? The obstetrician and
midwives, and probably the close checking Brady would, I imagine.

Genetics mate....

Congrats to Brady and family and best of health to all concerned.

Wonder if it was the first ever internally performed c-section? Didn't some dinosaurs have spikes on their beaks to penetrate the egg shell?

Re: 3. Brady Rawlings

Sorry to intrude but I really need to beat a friend this year in dt andto do so Rawlings could be my key. So I am just wondering wat role he is going to play this season. Will he be used as a tagger or a backmen. If a backmen will he be a shut down player or a ball getting player.
How is his pre season going by the way.

Cheers appreciate it alot.

Ps no one has commented on this page since 2007. Lol

Re: 3. Brady Rawlings

He'll be a close checking backman again, and he'll do as he's done of late.........launch our attacks and run on as a link up man. You couldn't pick a safer bet to perform for you each week. A proven performer and multiple B&F winner, who last year gained midfielder possession numbers down back.

Our forwards don't chase hard enough, our forwards do not know how to place defensive pressure on the opposition. Brady should be moved to half forward to play a defensive role because this is where opposition teams kill us. Brady will never give up a chase, Brady will never shirk a contest, Brady will dive on a boot, Brady is well Brady.

I know he gives us great run off half back but i believe he would be more valuable at half forward and set the example, he would also marshall the defensive pressure for our forwards.

He won't kick bags but he will do his darndest stopping the opposition freely strolling out of defense to set up attacks.

Move Brady to half forward BON:thumbsu:

would be a great help to our defensive pressure in the forward line... but brady is the best back pocket in the league... leave him there

I like ya thinking BE...but it leaves a big hole in our backline

Cam Richardson would be an able replacement for Brady in the backline

Spot on BE :thumbsu: benn happening since the Junkdog was at the helm and it is something that sticks out like the proverbial, i have often wondered why Bon has not managed to address this issue. Nothing to lose by trying your suggestion (even a reduction in the number of rebounds resulting in goals to the opposition would be a win) :thumbsu:

Good logic Bigeasy, as far as defensive pressure is concerned. The problem is though, only the players who can kick goals should be near thefedu forward line. There shouldn't be such a thing as defensive forward who can't kick a goal when opportunity presents itself.

Once Petrie gets full fitness, he should lead the way in that department

Scott needs to tell the forwards what he expects at AFL level and those that don't put in the hard yards don't play, simple as that.

People will eventually stick their hand up and put the effort in.

If one or two players are not doing it then it is a problem with the players, if nobody is doing it then it is a problem with the coaching.

Throwing 1 player down in the forward line to play this role won't solve the problem. It requires a team effort from all forwards for this to work as shown by Collingwood last year and even Essendon last night.

If Ryder, Davey and Monfies can amass 23 tackles collectively in a game why the hell shouldn't we expect say Hansen, LT and Warren to do the same?

I think Drew being down there will be massive. He's a real leader at the club and would be saying all the stuff Rawlings would be... plus he can kick a goal and we don't lose one of our best defenders. If Rawlings left the back line, we'd have a small forward kick 5 on us each game.
