It was Tarryns best game of his career, just eclipsing his game against Carlton in Round 19 2021.

Advanced stat keepers had him by far and away best on ground ahead of Martin and Bolton by a fair bit, with Sheezel some ways behind.

It has been by far Harry’s best 6 week block of his season.

He’s been probably the best half back in the comp statistically the last 6 weeks.

You're probably right, I only took a quick glance - either way it underlines his impact. He will improve as well.

The stats say he should win it, the elite games he has played say he should win it, and people with a brain say he should win it but he won't because the dickhead judge panel can't pass on a feel-good F/S story.

Daicos: What a star, knows where to run to receive, took to the AFL like a duck to water, looks like a ten year veteran, beat first year season ever!

I was chatting with an older GoDees supporter on Saturday morning who told me how impressed he was with Sheezel. I said he should have the Rising Star award wrapped up now and he replied “what about Ashcroft? His goal of the year was unbelievable!”

Honestly has a claim on the 40. He won't get there as that's not how they roll, but his year has essentially been elite for his position.

They’ll say his kick outs are the reason but ignore it’s his first season playing in a foreign position on the ground.

Well I look at this way Sheezel has been fantastic for our club and go down in history as the best ever 1st year player to play at our club.
But to all North supporters Cornes and Healy have hatred for our club and have a vote on the Rising Star award.
