Gone at 93% today… in Tassie.
Not going to directly call of those who unfairly called out his disposal.. but what a special, special player.
There was nothing unfair about what we pointed out. This is what he is capable of but he clearly wasn't delivering it in those games where had 10 turnovers or his first four kicks of the game all went to opposition players in space.

Nominated for the MVP and Best first year player award.

Most Valuable Player Award: Luke Davies-Uniacke, Nick Larkey, Harry Sheezel
Best First Year Player Award: Harry Sheezel
Best Captain Award: Luke McDonald and Jy Simpkin
Most Courageous Player Award: Cam Zurhaar

It's more that you both kept pointing it out for some reason and didn't consider the context of how much he was getting the ball and the fact that he was usually biting off the more difficult kicks. Kid is 18 ffs

No, we simply pointed out something he was doing badly that he needed to improve. Look how much more effective he was when he did improve on. The four kicks he stuffed up that day were not difficult kicks either. Plus he was clear and not under pressure when he kicked them.

Horne Francis was only 18 or 19 when he ****ed us over. That doesn't make him immune from criticism. Harry kicked poorly a few times and he shouldn't be immune from it either.

Some of you must be very shallow or fragile if you can't handle the sort of criticism that should lead to improvement. We didn't shit on him the way posters shit on our co-captains. We didn't say he was a bust, we both acknowledged how good he was actually. But those errors cost us.

We lose games because of turnovers. It happened nearly every week this season. People were happy to say crap like every McDonald kick is a turnover and all he ever does is roost the ball long - both factually inaccurate statements (and that's not a defense of his shit kicks either simply an acknowledgement that alot of his kicks are under 40m and hit their targets.) Nothing we said was factually inaccurate and we didn't add the vitriol and disrespect that get added to any criticism of the resident whipping boys.

We didn't keep pointing it out either. I defended my comments whenever someone brought it up and I also pointed out that he makes a number of turnovers per game but I didn't bang on about it every five minutes. Every week i've commented on how good he is in the votes thread.

But i'm not gonna shut up about something if I want to express myself.

If you can't handle it tough shit.

I guess we couldn’t really nominate anyone else for best captain.

Might be an unpopular choice, but I reckon I saw Jack perform more courageous acts this year than Cam.

621 kick-out's. They don't count.
Nick Daicos had tonnes the yr he won from memory no one seemed to worry. Looking forward to some nobody from somewhere taking out the medal. But as said many times it should not even be up for debate Harry should win it comfortably.

Did anyone remember the contest at halfback where the Suns player was trying to line him up or bump him and Sheez just plowed on through?
This is a first year player remember. I couldn't believe he could take contact or just evade is and it didn't even phase him.
