Honestly has a claim on the 40. He won't get there as that's not how they roll, but his year has essentially been elite for his position.
3rd most voted under 22? Shit, the 40 man squad is completely plausible. The rising star should be an automatic addition to the 40 man squad

Having to listen to all people who post on North Big Footy about Sheezel should be excited as his the best 1st year player at our club and Iv followed this club for 56 years and yes he should win the rising star award unfortunately he won’t over %90 of the media love Ashcroft and had him the winner at the start of the season and that won’t change

It's actually insane how much he's been talked down/how little he's been talked up in the media.

After the attention Daicos got last year, and Harry has arguably done it better, in a team less able to help him out, he should be getting crazy attention.

Absolute gun. Hope he keeps it going next year but we might have to prepare for some ups and downs with him as that is pretty normal in development. Sometimes even the ball bounces right into his hands or maybe he just reads it so well, it's incredible.
That one on three he had where he looked like he was gonna get crunched he somehow gets out of it with the footy. Amazing.

Was that derwayne commentating on todays game? Whoever it was mentioned that Harry should win the rising star about 5 times
It was Dwayne which is funny because he’s spent 90% of the year pushing for literally anyone else to win it lol

Meanwhile, the giggling idiot from Footscray tried to talk down Sheezel for taking so many kick-ins.
He is an absolute simpleton. Like someone animated one of those oscillating circus clowns with their mouths open that you throw ping pong balls into. F***wit

It’s the lightning quick decision making that is off the charts for a first year player. Whether it’s by hand or foot he has the uncanny 360 degree awareness of the best option to take. Blokes who have played for 10 yrs don’t have his footy iq.

Thought he would fade a bit towards the end of a long and draining first season. But his last month has been first class and full of running. Surely he wins it just on the basis of games played. Ashcroft is an absolute gun but Sheezel sill have played 5-6 more and has been ultra consistent in all of them.
