Love the bloke, has been selfless through Clarko's abscence and I know he joined in a part time capacity, but whatever happens going forward I'd really love for him to stay at Arden St and play a role in our next flag. Really puts the club ahead of himself and just seems to show so much care for the players.

18 months is a long time out of footy, especially in your key developmental years (17-22).

I still have high hopes considering his talent, but I’m also a bit gun shy to put any expectation on the kid. He doesn’t have a good tank so it’s going to take a while to build that up and get confidence back in his body.

Perez took a good 18-24 months to build back up again after his knee injury/ies, and after the 2nd knee he was robbed of a fair bit of his athleticism.

Let’s hope George has a better run once he gets back on the park.
