Tin foil hat leader here, but that“s not smart from Ratts IMO……don’t talk up another one we’ve got hidden away when we are applying for assistance from the afl. Just keep “schtumm“ and say nothin about our undiscovered gems at this point in time, would be my approach.

If the afl decided to not give us or lower our assistance package based on a guy we picked up in the 2nd round, after every team had a chance to call out his name, then we were boned from the start.

We've trialed basically everyone down back, so I wouldn't be surprised to see it. That's the second time that somebody has posted this rumor and it's mundane enough that at this point it would be stranger for this to be false.

There's no harm in it, but it's interesting to speculate on what they've seen that has them thinking about this. You throw in the comments that Ratten made about him being potentially better than Wardlaw and Sheezel, and clearly George is doing something that has the coaches excited.

It's gotta be that we break down easily when we're exiting the backline. Still a huge problem for the coaches to fix.

I think Clarko would want Sheezel in the middle and playing forward. His elite traits are more dangerous up the ground.

So many holes on our list that need to be addressed.

He will play out of the goal square next year, essentially what Paul Curtis has been doing for 18 months, playing as a smaller marking target next to Larkey. Curtis will hopefully have a larger tank to play higher up the field.

Chom literally said on a podcast last week that Clarko took him to the Collingwood game to observe Jamie Elliott.

He's as dangerous a natural forward as Sheezel, but capable of playing the key posts up forward because of his power and leap.

I have absolutely no doubt they will play Reid at half back and Sausage deep forward, both in positions they kick ass in.

Correct will be playing forward and is absolutely raring to go.
Has loved his time at the club and is trying to get used to the city.
Will be another one who heads back to the country after his 5 flags.
Spoke with him at the * game.
Great kid.

Don't be surprised to see him trialled off hb next year. The idea is being discussed. " ".

Was ready to go about a month ago. Taken the conservative approach.

Having Sheezel at half forward next season, with George deep forward and Zurhaar and Chom back will make us a completely different proposition.

If we also draft Watson, even more so.

Suddenly, a forward line. Add Paul Curtis along with AA Larkey and it looks even better. Curtis Taylor may not be so happy though.

It would be good to have him leading out of the square like Elliot to create space for Larkey.

Also, Reid looks great off HB. He's very quick to kick off a counter attack.
