Yep I think one of the best things about Black is that even when he doesn't kick a goal he does work around the ground and sets up goals.

Probably one of the strings that Tarrant doesn't have in his bow at the minute.

he's not the only one in our team that cant handball. Do we actually practice this at training?
You kidding? He's great at picking the ball up and dishing it off. His hands along the boundary that went in board and lead to that clean half volley pick up and snap by mullet were great.
There were so many great chains of handballs out of the back line today that cut Geelong open - was great to watch.
You're either very ignorant, negative or unobserveant. Perhaps even a very unfortunate combination of all of the above.

I thought the talls were good despite not hitting the scoreboard.

They had numbers back, makes it hard to get a lot of marks, but a lot of the space we had for mids to run into was due to the work of the KPFs. If you have guys the opposition don't respect then they will just zone the entire forward 50 and stop the mids finding space.

Aaron Black simply looks like a footballer. Surely he'll be a key forward for us for the next decade. Surely.
1000% agree. He is an intelligent footballer, agile on the ground ... Strong mark and a consistently nice kick (rare these days).
Almost buddy esk today, the way he played up and down the ground.

As others have said, Black is silky smooth with the ball both in the air and on the ground/in traffic.

He's a gem.

I swear I thought it was a mid running past for the receive, camera pans in its 192 Black. Unreal.

Will only get better, as a wise man once said, "he's all potential" lmao.
