Faulkner stiff to miss, he's been very good with the ball recently
His batting not good enough at the moment, they play him instead of Zampa most games which is a mistake & today the probably had too many bowling options.

He either has to be the 3rd quick or the allrounder #6

The balance of the ODI team has been way off & constantly throwing the order around does not help the batting.

Australia were missing Warner and Smith from their best line up, NZ were missing Guptill, not really that much difference.

Australia still had their best bowling line up.

NZ are the current holders of it as they won the last series.
Wade?

Why do they matter ? Because of it being a home series ? Australia are as useful as **** on a bull away... looking forward to them being shown how to play cricket when they face India.
World cup? Trash us all you want, these ODIs are just glorified practice matches... the real prize is the WC.

The Marsh's' have photo's of the national selectors in compromising positions.
They are both not up to standard and I find it very very frustration how they continue to be named in squads and get games.
How Travis Head isn't in the squad to India is beyond me...FMD

This is just a stab in the dark but it probably relates to his freakishly Mediocre average of 34 at first class level. And 50 odd with the ball.

Yeah baby 2-0 :D
Just got in, mate another great win for you, bloody hell how do you pick winners like that,f...ing amazing.
I'd ask you to pick me a winner at the nags ,but we both know your reply, have a good night.

Someone come up with a better keeper /batsman to go to Curry land than Paine, please no brain dead nuff nuff 'he does'nt even keep for his state replies

An ordinary keeper who averages less than 30 (or he did before that century, maybe it's gone past 30 now) is hardly a game breaking absence
Can be and also Handscomb is a horrible keeper.

Both Marsh brothers need to be kept away they are cancer
In no order here is my Team

Warner, Stoinis, Smith, Wade, Maxwell, Faulkner, Head, Hastings/Cummins, Hazlewood, Starc, Finch

On the bench is Zampa, Cummins/Hastings

Maxwell continues to frustrate me. Yes, I know his natural game is a hitter but I can't remember the last time he has had a good innings when the top order hasn't already made 150-200. I think Stoinis should have been batting ahead of him today.

Fair point, you would have to go all the way back to the last series they played in! Such short memories...He had 2 chances to do so in that series v Pakistan, made 60 in the 1st game and failed with just 23 in the 2nd. After that he came in with a lot of runs on the board.
