Nothing 'technical' about it - he was a FA - no trading of any sort went on.
Yep exactly
Was an astute pick up due to not losing anything but gaining a KPD who was ready made and played in a grand final

Hasn’t gone as well as planned but I’m not that fussed about the deal tbh

100% a Free Agent acquisition that at the time looked a good pick up, that has turned to shit. Cost us nothing but cap space which we had bucket loads of. No where near the levels of shitness of the CCJ trade.

The frustrating part now is that he is horribly out of form and they continue to play him.

5 year deal hey? Thanks Brady.

Yep. Especially when we are at the bottom end of cap payments. Better decisions can be made, sure, but this was decent enough business and he had a pretty nasty injury issue.

seems to make more dud decisions than good. but I can't help have the feeling maybe his decisions are sound, but the players around him aren't acting as he could resonably expect, given the coaches directives. Atm i'm 50% he's just shizen, 20% everyone around him makes him looks shizen and 30% we're all soo shizen it's ompossible to tweeze out the shithouseness

I’m going to reverse Kerridge Corr. Will be in the coach’s votes.
When I think of Corr in a North jumper I think of the 50 he gave away on Cameron last year and that flog pointing to the goal square as the ump called him back.
It was an embarrassment to the jumper and I’m sick of being everyone’s punching bag.

I'd actually like to see Lachie Young take his spot as the 3rd tall/rebounding defender given Corr isn't providing much at all in that role.

Young looks to be more agile and likely a better kick. Can't possibly be any worse 1on1. I mean why not - what have we really got to lose?

Young is more the lmac 4th defender imo same as ziebell

I’m glad we are dropping Ziebell

As for corr I think his only competition is Dawson for that third tall role. They’ve tried Ziebell as a third tall but he isn’t

Look happy with one of either Young or Dawson - fwiw I really liked what Dawson brought last year of no pre-season, so I'm actually a bit annoyed he hasn't got a shot for a few weeks as well given what Corr's dished up thus far.

The issue for us is we're constantly giving this bloke the ball when he's not supposed to be the distributor lol. He's a decent key defender and that's it.

The moment we try to be too cute and give Corr the ball and he's got 3 opponents circling, that's ****ing stupid from the bloke that gives it to him. Not just Corr's fault.

Give all of Logue, McKay and Corr the big guy contests and then surround them with athletic half backs/back pockets and we won't talk about our backline ever again.

It's not hard to know that giving Corr the footy when he can't bite off the difficult kick is a dumb thing to do.

I like it. It’s worth a try… I’m on board too. Im going to wake up in the morning convinced Aiden Corr is going to have a game high 8 intercept marks, 3 contested marks, 6 spoils, along with 24 disposals, 4 tackles and keeping his direct opponents goalless.
You got this Aiden 💪

Did Hawkins, Rohan, Henry all do hammies?

He will certainly need to put in a huge preseason.

I’m hopeful that this will help him in that he will go back to more a lock down role. He has no business trying to be involved in transition chains.
yep at least we will start to get some return on investment now

keep it simple for him like you say just stop the kpf getting goals
