Archer came off the ground, just before half time, bit of a worry, something to do with his arm, hopefully it will be ok after half time..

Missed alot of scoring opportunities in that qtr, Clayton:mad:

No Makepeace, with him not there, and Archer possibly not being there, bit of a worry for our defence IMO..

Its been close, though we have had a few turnovers, and wasted some scoring shots.. disappointing, but we are in front (Thanks Harding)

We can do it.

Go Roos

Tashi, just to save you from a "Tashi only thread", I'll say that the "new game plan" has looked a bit shaky this match even though we're in front at half time. The Crows are putting a lot of pressure on our prime movers and ball carriers and we've looked very fragile at times as a result. I would predict an easy win by the Crows on what I've seen so far but with the Roos you never know!

I'm surprised we're so close i thought we played poorly in the first half. We missed three goals we should have kicked in the first quarter and a bit, Claytons disposal is shocking. Archer's injury appears serious he didn't come out for the third quarter.
DANIEL just kicked a special goal i'm feeling a little better now.:D

Harris was very good in the third quarter, he lived up to the expectations many of us have for him this season. His first half wasn't too hot and i was starting to get a bit worried.

Yeah, Harris was good in the third qtr.

I noticed that Jnr now shares Wellsy's celebration after goal, that was a somewhat magical goal of Motlops.. and then Wellsy got a goal too.. oh so sweet. I love it how there goal celebration:D

I thought he did a sensational job gathering 14 disposals..... This kid has to stay in our 22 from now on, no ****ing excuses from now on... obviously he is a talent and knows how to get the ball, lets give him a real big chance, he will show everyone what he can do

I was very impressed with his game tonight. He definetly has what it takes. The others that impressed from the roos were Sinclair, Wells and Sinclair. Petrie did some good things.

I think you guys will make the 8 easy this year and some so called experts will wear a lot of egg on their face.;)

harris did have a good game......still unconvinced about watson tho.....seemed indicisive again like last week

Harris is in the best 22. He appears to have filled out over the pre-season, and lost nothing in comparison to old hands such as Goodwin and Edwards.

His strength is his clean hands and ability to dispose by hand under duress. This would be an asset in any side's structure, but in our new best option strategy, rather than the old bang it forward at all costs, this skill is vital.

I also remeber when he was first drafted, he had an excellent record over the 20 metre sprint. It does not matter how fast he is over a 100 hundred metres, in football its important to be quick over the first 20.

So who goes out of the 22 to bring him in? Got to bring Makepeace back.. missed him tonight:(

Go Roos
Rawlings is useless.
Watson is a 2nds player.

There are 4 spots on the bench.
Harris is good enough to be playing senior football.

Those who can play should.
Those who can't shouldn't.

Watt and Rawlings.
Goodbye.

Seriously i dont mean to offend you people....but Daniel Harris wasnt good tonight! His disposal was sloppy, he ran around like a snail, and was slow to get rid of the ball.
Why should he be in our best 22?

I like Harro and I`d like to see him in team. Won`t see the game until tomorrow, but going by the internet, he was very good in the third quarter, but barely touched it in the last. Wasn`t so flash in the first half. Still, it was his first game in the ones and will only get better.

Because we have 2nds footballers out there and Harris is a class above that.
I agree with you on the disposal.
Apparently if you know how to kick the ball then then you have no hope of being recruited by North Melbourne.
Seriously how did some of these blokes ever get picked???
It's called FOOTball. Somewhere along the way you have to kick the damn thing.
My local team can kick better then North

go back and take a look at the video buddy!

If some of those handballs out of the packs were slow, you'll be telling me Harvey is a tortise next...

14 posessions after spending a quarter and a half on the bench is a reasonable effort, and I think you'll find he'll just get better from here.
