look i don't expect him to play good every game as he has been an amazing elite player in the big moments, but him & Shai we're not good last night & we needed them both to be if we we're going to win both Taranto & Hopper are copping it from our fans when these two have been a lot worse.

This pre-retirement forward thing won't work judging by what we've seen so far.

I hate to say it but I don’t think his heart is in it anymore. Whether the kidney injury has ruined him or his dads passing is still affecting him, he doesn’t seem to be switched on in my view.

Gets caught a lot these days and some of his kicking is not good. Wouldn’t be surprised he gives it away at seasons end. Will be a very sad day but really he owes us nothing. Has given us more joy than we could have dreamt of.

Would love him to prove me completely wrong.

Agree - he's like a Cox Plate winner that's returned to racing with a string of duck eggs

The whole team is looking NQR. I thought TT and JH would just mean a step up in wins but Prestia is not quite right. Id be chucking Martin and Bolton back in the midfield.

I reckon dusty has oft been affected with osteo pubis , his movement isn’t what it was , not exploding away from traffic and his kicking is lacking depth , still doing enough tho to earn his stripes , he’d be avg 20p and about half always score involve , as mentioned , the very least of our worries

Definitely the least of our worries, it's un dusty like to be making errors from that close to goal. Then again when the team is firing dusty brilliance is the icing on the cake

Good call on the reduction in dynamic movement. Watching last nights match, was making every effort to be accountable with ball and chasing ball exits. Looked a yard slower, is halving one on one contests as opposed to dominating them. Gotta be carrying an injury.

Seemed OK here... probably just a lacking in technique execution a bit sometimes

He no longer has the confidence to go with his instincts and take the million dollar shot and is second guessing himself to not make a mistake
just is not playing fluently

We're bottom 2 or 3 in the comp for forward 50 conversion to scores. It's clearly not working.

Isolate Dusty vs the opposition best defender and allow third man up or have him stream foward vs other mids.

It's not rocket science but our coaches seem to be in love with his pure forward role

I'd be a lot more worried about the return on investment on Bolton than Dusty any day of the week
Bolton is nothing more than an overpaid down hill skiing show pony.
Dustin Martin owes this club nothing
