he's still clean, still a very good player but doesnt really impact the game. He's missed a fair amount of footy, it'll probably take half a season before he really starts feeling it, until then his body just needs to hold up and get games, probably why they're keeping him fwd permanently. At least thats the way I reason it.

He’s playing half forward … a terrible position in a struggling team. I’d tell him to play more midfield. We need his clean hands and great disposal around the ball. He’ll kick more goals playing mid-fwd than perma fwd anyway. Don’t give him the easy option - midfield it up!!

I agree 100% but think due to him missing so much footy and not wanting to breakdown from overload of work, they're keeping him perma fwd until he gets a really solid run of games into him - wouldnt surprise in the slightest if in the 2nd half of the season, he starts playing a lot more midfield

yeah clearly he wasnt, he was sore after round 1. In the time trials he was always in the back third of the pack
He doesnt look confident and not attempting the things that came naturally to him

Prolly not fit enough and/or match hardened to attempt his natural game...reckon once he's match fit the confidence will grow...
Bloody hell he has had 2 year to get match fit

He hit the post in what would've been a miracle goal, missed a few... One that normally dribbles through as only Dusty can. Watch his goal in the last. His tackle created the stoppage on the defensive 50. In next passage of play over 100m gut running he breaks 2 tackles, fends off 2 dodges and weaves, crashes through has 3 handballs in the chain and kicks a phenomenal goal. Should be goal of the year as 10x better than Drapers. Won't even get nominated for goal of the round what's the bet! GOAT!!!!!
if he kicked another 2 of those three goals he would’ve been best on by a country mile
