I'd lean towards DeSantis. He has turned Florida that was a swing state into a double digit red state. You don't get that without you're citizens thinking you are doing right by them.

Plenty of xenophobes, confederates, John Birchers , anti LGTBQ would vote for him as he hates the minorities that they do.
They fear that straight white males might become the minority one day too and lose their power and that terrifies them, knowing how minorities are treated. There are also many who would do anything to own the Libs of course.
And..red states, are red states. Similar to how MTG gets elected, her constituents are similar to her.
I have no idea if DeSantis would be any better than Trump as President. He does lack charisma or any sense of personality or moral compass, that’s for sure.
