This thread is not about Covid, lockdowns, or vaccines. It is about Donald Trump. While Trump was in office during the pandemic and his response to Covid is relevant, there are pertinent threads for you to post your opinions on those things in.

It might also do with reminding a few that when you post on the SRP, you are responsible for backing up/verifying your claims to fact. What this means is that you will be asked time to time to support your claims with evidence, to ensure that this forum is as free of misinfomation as we can make it.

Military career​

Following graduation from Princeton in 2003, Hegseth joined Bear Stearns as an equity capital markets analyst and was also commissioned as an infantry officer in the U.S. Army National Guard.[11] In 2004 his unit was called to Guantánamo Bay, where he served as an Infantry platoon leader with the Minnesota Army National Guard. His unit was under the operational control of the 3rd Battalion, 187th Infantry Regiment 101st Airborne Division. He was awarded the Army Commendation Medal. Shortly after returning from Cuba, Hegseth volunteered to serve in Baghdad and Samarra, where he held the position of infantry platoon leader and, later in Samarra, as Civil–Military Operations Officer. During his time in Iraq, he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, and a second Army Commendation Medal.[12]

He returned to active duty in 2012 as a captain. He deployed to Afghanistan with the Minnesota Army National Guard and acted as a senior counterinsurgency instructor at the Counterinsurgency Training Center in Kabul.

Hegseth has been awarded two Bronze Stars for his service overseas.[13] Hegseth, a major, is assigned to the Army's Individual Ready Reserve.[14]

Feel for the Palestinians but for the Muslims in Pennsylvania who apparently swung to Trump because he visited a lot and said he'd do more for them than Kamala, this is real leopard face eating territory. Trump told everyone who he was this election campaign, if you ignored that then swallowed his lies when just talking to you, then you made this bed.

Few Muslims in Pennsylvania or elsewhere would have been convinced that Trump was their saviour.

Harris gave them nothing but a promise of more of the same, which is to give Israel everything at wants while paying lip service to decency with 'red line' and 'ceasefire'.
