Specifically: reference to TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) and its counterpart 'Trumpanzee' or anything similar will no longer be allowed.

Personal attacks are also to be kept to a minimum.

Just a reminder, even if it hasn't come up for a few pages and y'all should know this stuff by now:

This thread is not about Covid, lockdowns, or vaccines. It is about Donald Trump. While Trump was in office during the pandemic and his response to Covid is relevant, there are pertinent threads for you to post your opinions on those things in.

It might also do with reminding a few that when you post on the SRP, you are responsible for backing up/verifying your claims to fact. What this means is that you will be asked time to time to support your claims with evidence, to ensure that this forum is as free of misinfomation as we can make it.

Do not post conspiracy theories on this forum. We have an entire other forum for that.

Thanks all.

Congrats Royces Hart on the new thread title!

Into a foreign country mind you ..very very scary times for US citizens
The U.S operated quite a few 'black sites' in Eastern Europe. From Moscow's jackboot to Washington's, the song remains the same...

TdA guys are a declared terrorists,so don't have much of leg to stand on.

And a proper judicial process might have established that these people were gang members or had criminal convictions. Or might hqve convicted them of a criminal offence. And established they didn’t have legal status in the US.

This wasn’t a proper judicial process.

This wasn’t a proper judicial process.

or that , they in fact, were legal citizens, or non criminals.

no process.

I think, they have slid to the bottom of the slope..........nasty vile inhuman people these magits are.

Plus….from NYTimes

Ultimately, the judge will have to decide whether the administration was right in removing people under the statute, which allows the government wide discretion to summarily deport noncitizens during wartime and if there is an invasion of U.S. territory.

InsideBull why did you dislike this post? Is there anything you'd like to counter with?
Oh it just sounded a little bit genocidal for my liking

Genocide might not be quite the right term but it's close enough. Some types on here might like the word "purge", I expect

Yep:
Banning words
Banning books
Trying to lock up anyone critical of Trump.
Arbitrarily detaining people without trial, and subjecting them to threats and intimidation.
Threatening to remove any official critical of Trump.
Removing, blocking any members of the press who write anything critical of Trump/musk.
Removal from any government records mentions of any persons who aren't aligned with the MAGA point of view; DEIMEDALS!
Claiming Trump can pretty much undertake any activities he wants, with minimal if any oversight from the Judiciary or Legislative branches; etc etc.
The irony here is the same people were probably complaining about cancel culture not that long ago.

Yeah, ‘alleged’ is key. Everything hinges on what the government can prove. The DHS claims Khalil’s actions fit the INA’s deportation criteria, but without public evidence beyond Rubio’s say so and some flyers, it’s still just their word against his. Court’s gotta sort it out now.
Except as has happened with Venezuela Trump will just deport him anyway without the courts consent and the court has SFA chance of getting him safely back.

As Trump said, when he declared March Irish American Month:

“They’re a great people. And they voted for me in heavy numbers so I like them even more. You have to like them. You know, you’re not supposed to but you have to like them.”
campaigner is so old he's still doing nudge nudge wink wink on Irish bigotry. The MAGA dipshits wouldn't even know the Irish were Europe's ******s before coloured people started moving about more.

I don't get the point of your original post.

He is a Green Card holder and no evidence has been submitted, he shouldn't be held nor deported.

The law doesn’t require criminal evidence or a trial for deportation in cases like this; it’s enough that the Secretary of State, backed by the Trump administration, sees Khalil’s activism as a threat to U.S. foreign policy. His protests at Columbia, which they tie to Hamas sympathies, aren’t just speech—they’re actions that clash with national interests. The Immigration and Nationality Act gives the government wide latitude here, and they’re using it.
