It’s his telescopic boots is what I like. Seems to measure the ball beautifully. I think he will be a great field kicker and hopefully good goal kicker on the run. His inside game? I have no ideaWatched most of the VFL game today and the bloke clearly has it in terms of the ability to find the pill.
The ball just gravitates to him. He's also got a great ability to pick it up cleanly and scoot off with it before anyone even registers what he's doing.
That said he's clearly well short of a gallop and is going to need a sustained run in the VFL just for conditioning. It sounded like even without the MCL he was going to be a bit of a project this year so we may have to be patient but i'm confident that there's plenty there to work with.
Dont see the need to give him a run in seniors considering our position and also the limited prep Tsatas has had for a year nowHappy to read he looked good in this one. A couple more games and give him a crack in the senior's.
Keep him out of the seniors unless we can't make finals? Wat?Dont see the need to give him a run in seniors considering our position and also the limited prep Tsatas has had for a year now
Let him stew in the VFL all year unless we cant make finals in round 23/24
Challenge his inside game more, even play him off half back to add versatility into his game
YepKeep him out of the seniors unless we can't make finals? Wat?
Ok you've convinced me.
Whats there to convince you about?Ok you've convinced me.
Why that's a good plan?Whats there to convince you about?
Why would we hold him back unless we arent making finalsWhats there to convince you about?
Self loathing? Why would we hold him back unless we arent making finals
If he is braining it in the VFL in a months time why we hold him back arbitrarily?
Because hes been injured for most of the past 12 months? Why that's a good plan?
He would have to really be braining itWhy would we hold him back unless we arent making finals
If he is braining it in the VFL in a months time why we hold him back arbitrarily?
Id be okay with him as a sub*.
Not in 22 unless 1 of the 3 things i said occurs
I wouldn't put limits on if and when we see him in the seniors.
If his form or fitness isn't up to standard then he doesn't play unless our hand is forced through injury.
If his VFL form warrants selection then we put him in as soon as there's an opening for him, whether that be through injury or dropping someone out of form/not as good.
We shouldn't be gifting him games just because he was a high draft pick, but we shouldn't be holding him back to make some kind of point that doesn't need to be made. We select him when he's ready.
18 possessions, 4 marks, 6 clearances and a goal in three quarters - and there were numerous times that he made good position and wasn't used. He will be too good for VFL very quickly. No need to treat him differently to others, if he shows he's ready for a senior call up and there is a spot for him why wouldn't the coaches consider him for selection?
I would too if finals werent in contentionI'd give him a taste in round 22 or 23 assuming he keeps ripping it up at VFL level.
I agree with the sentiment . He would have to be ripping the VFL apart after 5 or 6 games for him to seriously push his way in baring injury. Parish will also be back in the side in the back half of the year as well so the spot will not just be an easy in.Because hes been injured for most of the past 12 months?
Whos he replacing with finals on the line? It aint Durham or Martin who are our wingers
I cant see us being out of finals contention till extremely late and till then he builds in the VFL after an extremely interrupted last 12 months. His fitness was poor beforehand
Only way he gets a game is were out of finals contention, hes playing the eyes out of VFL for several several weeks in a row, or we have an even worse injury list to what we have now
