The AFL landscape has changed and players leaving early is more common now, just sucks because it is happening to us.

Given the Papley situation, and also the Kelly one (which the Cats got a bounty back after not agreeing to trade on initial request) I'd be happy to hold JHF to his contract and see how it plays out.

This leaves the ball in Port's court and they can pay overs now or risk him having a change of mind at the end of next season.

If we don’t get what we want for him I’m happy for him to rot in the two’s just to make a point that we won’t be walked over.

He couldn’t possibly be part of the team moving forward? 90% of NMFC supporters want to spit on the campaigner

Now that the dust has settled, except for the Port posters coming in here and stirring things up. I think we'll come out of this well. JHF is clearly a very talented footballer, is he professional? Not at this stage. Will he become more professional? Probably, I'm sure he'll improve overtime.

What I think that what is becoming clearer is that he relies on his talent so when confronted with adversity, having to put in hard work and even do basic recovery he's not prepared to put in the yards.

I'll watch with interest to see how his career goes and and how he handles the pressure in the Adelaide bubble, not very well I would suspect.

Looking forward to getting the most out of this trade and drafting a couple of real Shinboners.

I don't need to see him rot in the 2nds as long as he is earning his spot in the team.

Half the list didn't respect Noble this past season, that won't happen with Clarko.

The kid is back home with friends and family, obviously would prefer to stay there, and Fabian probably called the club this week and said make him an offer.

In the event that he is traded to Port Adelaide I sincerely hope that he is cracking the sads and throwing tantrums by round 3, Hinkley gone by round 12 and the club internally combusts and we end up with a top 4 pick in next seasons draft and Port end up in the same situation we are in now with young guys like Butters requesting trades interstate.

Personally i wish him all the best. It did not work out like we all hoped for but life goes on. Now we just make the most of this opportunity and get some more top end talent in. At the end of the day to many posters are taking it to personally. Lets make it a win win situation for JHF and the NMFC.

Honestly, I wouldn’t want him in the team. He has acted like a petulant immature child so far, so if he stays here he should be treated as such.

Nah, Port have been in his ear since before the draft last year. This hasn’t happened over night.

We can turn it into a win-win without wishing someone well who has shit on our club and left us at our lowest point.

I'd really like Sinn.

North - Pick 8, Future First, Sinn
Port - JHF & some change
Don't know that some change is required there.

End of the day, I'd rather have JHF on the list but if we are to trade and got Sinn, (Humpheries, or by a miracle Cadman) with Pick 8, and we bank the future first that would be reasonable.

What we lack is marketable players, that's what JHF is. If a team is giving up a marketable player (who attract prime time slots etc) then any trade needs to value that.

Let's see, I'd assume we all agree his behaviour hasn't been good enough.

The club knows first hand what we have though, if they keep him on the list it will be with the intention to get the best out of him.

We played Port once at shithead stadium I managed to get a glimpse of some of their cheer squad , wasn’t that a sight to behold . Thought I had walked passed The Lord of the Rings hobbit exhibit 1664756568079.gif

**** that!! The weak little campaigner has screwed us over big time! We owe him **** all

It’s indicative of the generation, No guts, no resilience, No loyalty, no steadfastness to build something. Always after the quick fix and easy way out.
It's weak to me.
Take the best trade we can get and throw the petulant turd out the door.
Clearly never had and would never have what it takes to be a Shinboner.

Yeah nah. Boomers by far the sookiest most entitled generation going around.

JHF as an individual is just weak as piss.
