The more I think about it, the more I’d rather he go. We don’t want to pay anything like what Port are apparently offering, and I‘m not sure that another season of half arsing it with us would see him maintain his trade value. Get the best deal we can and if it’s anything like what he was seen to be worth 12 months ago, before everyone saw how this season played out, I’d take that as a win and move on.

He’s probably cut that after all the hype he is now so far behind Daicos, and Port are playing to his ego. It’s easy for him and his advisors to forget that Daicos might have landed in a better environment, but he also made himself one of the reasons his team performed so well.

Given that contracts are now pretty arbitrary for players the next step for the league should be the ability to trade player’s against their will.

JHF is talented, but not as talented as TT.
TT has skills and ball use that are matched by very few players in the game.

i very much disagree. JHF i matches TT is all aspects except for marking, however JHF has a much better ability to break tackles as well as the ability to get on the inside and extract the ball.
