Right (thank for the formula Giantroo ), Free Agency compo in this instance doesn't apply.

If out of contract then, I guess we get nothing if he is unhappy and goes for the draft (which means he will end up at the club he wants anyway, knowing how the system can be worked).

All of which is academic. Lachie will sign a new contract. The delay is simply because he's working on a new signature.

I heard he actually received his new contract about 3 months ago, but he has only got half way through reading it (I don't think he has read anything longer than a comic), and is still trying to figure out where to put the 'X'.
