I thought the Pres was taking in the sights of Hobart and didn’t enter the fray until he was ready .
Of course I knew Baileys Cott was injured. I just used the opportunity to pot him because I don’t rate him at all.
And yes plenty do amd as I’ve said before every single player is rated by someone around here .

As for Scott I hope it's nothing serious. He was starting to hit good form and it would be awful if he has a significant setback. Contract year too, don't want to end that injured in the worst team around.

I probably think more in terms of where improvement is required than not rating someone.

As in Simpkin needs to improve his disposal efficiency.

Honestly we put on more conditioning where we had Corey Jones doing running repairs on the joint and the catch cry was the weights all weigh the same, while doing gym work in the old social club.

State of the art facilities to look at and not touch?

It’s a huge issue across a significant amount of players.

Wonder if it’s laziness, lack of standards etc in the gym. There isn’t much of a focus down at north for muscle development

I highly doubt that kids that do all the dedicated stuff required to get into the system are lazy.

This is probably closer to the mark. I am also under the understanding that Bailey (specifically) was given very conflicting advise under our different FD regimes.

There isn’t much of a focus down at north for muscle development

using the general rule of a players height - 100 should = around their weight (+/- say 3 kgs) we have a few that would be under weight a lot of the 22 and under. Stephenson 10-13 kgs under where youd want him and a year longer in the system than Bailey.

The S&C guys need to sort this.

I joked about it a while ago but I was genuinely disturbed by some of the gym work footage we released. It didn't surprise me though that every bloke who has put on size had footage of him pushing properly, while the Gumby lookin' asses all piss farting around with shit that doesn't build mass.

That's just depressing, honestly. Clearly the piss farting needs to stop. We're getting belted every week and North players make up a third of the league's lightweight but AFL ready team that was released a few weeks back. Standards at the club in the gym have clearly plummeted. We need to fix that pronto, and convey loud and clear that slackness won't be tolerated

I've looked at these in the past and found it hard to believe that some of them could be current. I am a skinny runner and do no weights to speak of (apart from rehab) but would have the same BMI as some of these. Surely Turner is not still 71kg. He is lightly built but has a reasonable amount of muscle. TT does not look 76kg at 189cm height. Wasn't he listed at 74 when drafted? Kallan Dawson looks a lot bigger than 78kg. Bergman had apparently put on about 7kg in the 12 months prior to drafting and is listed at 65. He couldn't have been 58kg before then. Ain't no way. I am about his height and have looked emaciated on the couple of occasions I have gotten down to 71.

I might be going against the grain here but keeping Sidebottom to 7 touches and a goal in each half was a pretty good job on one of the all time greats..
