Yes but we went publicly saying how good he’d be for us …multiple multiple timesI swear he requested a trade to us
Oi....you just stay on Houston watch,Jumping at shadows, this thread.
ITK mate is allegedly from a third club. FFS. Not a hill I'd be prepared to die on.I’m aware of that, which is why I asked. He’s got nfi when it comes to what we are offering unless he’s asked Brady we also haven’t offered what he claims, yet he is saying his “mate is right”.
The club has said goodbye to Parker, lolLet’s hope u are right … but we showed everyone our hand too early .. how desperate we are for Parker
If that one comes true he'll probably get both right. Because the only thing I can imagine turning LDU's head would be more coaching turmoil at Arden St.
Jesus he was talking publically about how sad he was that his late dad wouldn't be able to see the success they are all about to achieve. That's not the words of someone who is thinking about moving, and it's definitely not the context where you'd bring something like that up flippantly.
Getting a bit ****ing bored of the doomsday predictions tbh.
The only thing linking him to St Kilda is the approximity of their training venue to his mum's house.I believe that LDU will stay. And I hope he does. The saints news is just media talking.
Either way, and correct me if I'm wrong, Luke's a restricted free agent. The best possible compensation we'd get for free agency is pick 2 (if we finish last). We can simply match his contract, then ask for the world to get a trade done if he really wants to leave. Sure there is the risk of walking to the draft. But then he'd potentially be stuck going to Richmond or interstate before getting to the saints.
Basking in the Lazarro thread.Where’s Ross gone

That too.And their endless desperation chasing around any quality midfielder coming out of contract.
UnlikelyIve seen rumours that people at the club think LDU is leaving, hence we are looking at midfielders in the draft (eg. Draper). Is this true/

LDU should give Brett Delidio a buzzOnly media releases is it seems unlikely he leaves.
He has said he wouldn't want to leave.
The biggest throat clear always comes befor they talk about massive offers saying... If north are going terrible and not showing improvement will LDU start looking around. Thats the narative
Seem to remember he grew up a hawks fan and was saying how unreal it would be to be coached by clarko when we were courting him. Can't see how anything has changed there, stable off field, young talent emerging all around him, just won the BNF and a serious haul of Brownlow votes for a team that won 3 games, clearly playing his best footy under Clarko, you don't do that if you're not happy. Being happy and work trumps a bit more pay too, he's going to be set for life staying at the Roos anyway. One thing I know is that Luke loves his mum and his mum loves the club. Something the club has made a priority in recent times is to really embrace the families. I don't think Luke would have any intention to leave, he's incredibly loyal. But if the dynamic of Senior Coach/Head of Football/CEO/President was to change, then that might have him consider his options.
Could be the Shane Crawford?Seem to remember he grew up a hawks fan and was saying how unreal it would be to be coached by clarko when we were courting him.
