Gotta feel for Saints supporters that actually thought this was a possibility. To leave North is one thing which is unlikely, but to leave North for another small club with less success and less young talent… Well that would be truly something else.
As evidenced by LDU shaking his head no at the bloke with the Saint(s) jumper on at the start of that clip 😛

3x times he's publicly said he sees himself in the blue and white stripes for life/the foreseeable future.

It's insane how the media (and some fans) will still ignore it to push the narrative of him being out the door.

Its Happening Ron Paul GIF

Nah but he’s from Rye so its 20 mins closer when he wants to go down there which is really important to him….

He needs stop saying/commenting Bla Bla it......if serious, then he Just Do It Now!!, if not then he cannot be trusted.

His mum is still in Rye, he’s not

I wonder if he’s already signed, and the announcement may just be a part of some wonderful Christmasy social media …

Doesn't he live in the Elwood area anyway. For mine it'd be brutal to rely on Punt Rd for your daily commute, regardless of time of day, but unless he's travelling directly between Rye and the club, that whole shebang is basically a non-factor

Collingwood- “come and play 17 games a year infront of a packed MCG”

Hawthorn- “prime time Hauks. On the way up. Exciting. Barracked for us as a kid”

StKilda - “our training base is close to his mum’s house”

the media kept telling us talks were on hold. Why then is LDUs team working hard in the background to get a deal done?
Because they’re blatantly making stuff up.

They’re trying very hard to turn it into a story. They’d be very frustrated at his carelessness towards “the game” of contracts.

They genuinely hate it when a player is as meat and potatoes regarding the pageantry of footy as LDU. Loves his minnow club, wants to stay, will more than likely sign on during the season. They'll squeeze what they can out of it.

Nearly anyone else but LDU, I would think that person was talking out of their arse. He doesn't seem capable of lying. Unless I'm underestimating him.

The question does remain though, there's a lot around needing x amount of wins...if this is the case, what is actually being "worked on in the background "....if this is genuinely true, nothing is imminent.

One day, a player will come out and say "I'm ambitious for success and I need a club that matches that"......the general public's collective heads will fall off.
