It's gonna be a sad day sometime in the next couple of years when Central Coast (and Newcastle) go bust :huh:

Can't see anymore clubs (outside of maybe Perth) doing that but it'll impact the A-League greatly without those two teams.

No chance. Mariners are embedded in the community, will be around for ever.

I am happy with Western United. They've got backing from the council and are building an identity gradually. Once they move into their venue in 2026/7 they will be all set.

Wished they would change their name though to Western Melbourne or something else more meaningful.

Western United has to be the most generic name ever in the history of Australian sport.

Wyndham or Tarneit United even. Just anything else but {direction}{meaningless nickname} (but mainly the direction part).
