But hang on a minute, alot of Carlton supporters are saying we got a good deal, and Kennedy is gonna be a 'star'. So which is it?

You got the best deal from Carlton that was on offer.
we didnt buckle & give up pick 1.
Sad to see Josh go, he will be a very good, possibly great player for you.
As Ive mentioned previously, up until 5 days ago he was reffered to al opposition supporters as another draft mistake by Carlton.
He will be great.
Its a reasonably fair trade, we give up a bit, but get THE BEST player in the competition.
Carlton got out of this deal cheaply for a player of Chris's ability & character.

His playing ability cannot be questioned, after the way this whole thing has played out, I'm not so sure his character has remained intact.
Anyway he'll improve your side, no doubt about that.

I don't know how anyone can rate Kennedy! He is a skinny young kid that has only played a handful of games! Apparently he is talented, but who is to say this will translate into him being a star. He looks a little awkward and gangly on the field. Not sure about him.
Why Richmond? We have lost nothing and most of us never expected to get Judd. Miller played some games and may have forced Carlton to pay slightly more (early reports I heard were 3 and JK or 3 and 20). It was worth trying to force Carlton to send the first pick west. Didn't work, no harm done to us.
The big loser here is Judd's reputation. Has already made himself look bad and when Carlton finish bottom four again next year, he won't seem so special.

99% of Carlton supporters feel for Josh, & wish him the best success. To get a superstar something had to give, for us sadly it was Josh.
ps - I hope this doesnt make you Richmond supporters want to SPIT on us............

Perhaps Greg Miller could do a week or 2 work experience at Carlton to get some tips & good business practices to bring back to Punt Rd.
