I went down there yesterday. Saw a few boats coming in from up on Mt Nelson and then went down to the docks and watched few more. Two of the kids enjoyed it at least. lol.I have a mate there, I think typically they arrive NYE so they can celebrate.
They probably took out the cancer causing chemicals that are probably in the american version due to deregulations.

Aye, we do have access to dam water also but have plenty of potable water available. Can also transfer water between the barns setup and the house. 110 thousand litres in Total.I'm guessing koshari supplies his house with water from a tank using a domestic constant pressure pump.
There's a whole bunch of things you need to take into consideration if you're using them for fire protection and that's when having enough water (and getting it to the sprayers in potentially psycho conditions) becomes vital as well. I don't imagine using them for cooling is anything like that in terms of getting coverage right and maintaining the supply of water.Aye, we do have access to dam water also but have plenty of potable water available. Silly buggers that were here before us didnt even have the machinary shed connected to the tanks . That shed alone has more catchment than the house and stables combined so i ran some stormwater pipes from there pretty quickly.
The new misting kits appear to have push fittings which is a bonus.
Nah definitely nothing like what fire protection would require. I would only be looking to applying it to the area i sit out under. The mininum 7m kit would cover it in spades. There's a whole bunch of things you need to take into consideration if you're using them for fire protection and that's when having enough water (and getting it to the sprayers in potentially psycho conditions) becomes vital as well. Its crazy the way people don't connect water tanks to their sheds. It happens alot and as you say the catchment is usually massive. Altho there was a period in the last 20 years when water tanks were hard to get and had long waiting lists for supply, possibly longer ones for delivery. That might explain it.
