Cats lose 15, 16, Constable, Gain 7, Higgins
Blues lose 7, Gain 25 and Saad
North lose 25 and Higgins, Gain 16
Dons lose Saad, Gain 15 and Constable

Maybe north aren't happy?
If I was North I would be paying Saad overs to walk into the PSD and get to keep their second rounder and trade Higgins for a third rounder possibly. They have a reasonable shot with Dodoro involved in the negotiations

You sound like someone who is loaded lol. There is a substantial gap and Essendon dont rate him as highly as he thinks he is worth. Opposition team offers have confirmed this for hm. The Essendon family need to open their wallets and give him some love or he walks.
there is an element in this.
AFL is a temporary career. And very few get to continue that career in a lucrative fashion post-playing career.

If there is $150-200k difference (plus an extra year of 6-700K) on the table, Saady would be mad not taking it.
Talking a good 1.4-1.5m guaranteed there.

you are talking out your ass.

you have no idea if there is a significant Gap. The reports are that it isn't a $$$ situation but rather a contract length. The discrepancy being reported is 1 year. We have reportedly offering him 4, but he wants 5.

Whilst reports are just reports, and you are free to read into that how you will, there is NOTHING suggesting that there is a substantial gap in between what we are offering and what other clubs are offering.

Believe what you want to believe. Just extend his contract if that is all it takes. Just show him some love.

lol, how about no? We just supposed to give him what he wants, because he wants it?

Adams strength is speed. Speed is the first thing that leaves a player.

4 years is plenty enough for him IMO. He turns 27 in July next year.

If Carlton want to give him 5 years then take him - we don't need to over sign for a player when we are likely not contending finals for the next 1-2 years anyway.

No to Graham, Riley is my cousin and they rate him very, very highly. No chance he leaves
Lol. Graham is the big bodied inside mid that would instantly make you better in the engine room. But yeh stick with what you're doing it's working great.

Probably, id prefer to hit the draft
Go and find the vision of Graham smash-tackling NicNat htb a month ago. Good luck finding someone who can do that in this year's Draft. But you guys are rebuilding so I guess you have time.

Anyway, fingers crossed we're keeping him.

cool story, we're over half way in our 32 year re build.

This is one of the dumbest things people say about player contract negotiations. When players are talking about contract length, its always a significantly large total dollar difference.

Its always more like the player wants $750k per year for 5 years, while the club is offering $800k per year for 4 years.
