Dodoro should update his ideas, disconnect with reality.
Adam Saad is an OOC footballer, he’s walked. The more Saad is restricted and restrained the more damage done to EFC & Dodoro brand names & images.
Hot tip. The EFC probably couldn't give a stuff what you think about them. Trying to get the best deal for the club is hardly damaging.

value is mid 30's

I can offer you Pick 47 for Charlie Curnow.

Overs. Dude has barely played in 2 years. Cooked? ;)

You think Charlie is held in the same value as Saad?
Ok - i'm done here. I think this discussion will somehow get me in banned by the very biased mods again. You guys can keep going...

Would that be the Charlie Curnow who has a contract and hasn't walked out on his club firing parting shots on his way out?

Just more dick measuring in here, yep, that's BF!

You probably need to learn to take a joke. Might help lower the blood pressure a touch.

Nope, Saad actually gets out onto the park :thumbsu:

Well, Saad has played more games, to a higher level, over a longer period. Ergo, more valuable than Charlie right? If Saad is only worth a pick in the 30's then Curnow can't be worth anything more than our 3rd round selection.

Ok - i'm done here.

Bye.

Has Dodo really knocked back 8 with pick 40 something going the other way?

That's overs for Saad and a huge win so his job security surely needs to come under scrutiny if this doesn't get done

Didn't mind Dodoro chatting yesterday. Thought he spoke quite well.

Even though, I still feel pick 8 is far more than Saad's value at the moment, mainly due to his OOC status. Think a pick in the late teens is more than enough, but yeah if we can't split pick 8, pick 8 for Saad + a future second seems fair to me.

He's knocked it back just as surely as Adelaide have matched Crouch and the 50000 other rumours that Journos report as fact.

Do Essendon supporters think that pick 8 for Saad is realistic (I’ve only read the last two pages)?
If you think that a straight swap is what’s required, why wouldn’t we send him to the draft and take him at 8?
There needs to be some incentive for us to trade, despite what you think we don’t need to. And before you say you’ll redraft him, do you really want to waste a pick that has value to you?

So he wants Pick 8 as a straight swap for an OOC flanker. Classic Dodo

If the Blues cave in and hand that over Essendon can absolutely claim to have “won” the trade but if he’s really rejected 8 for Saad + 48 I’d be telling Adam to nominate for the ND. Ridiculous

Because football clubs aren't children. They're professional sporting organisations -I can't imagine something like that going down well with the rest of the competition (Regardless of who was doing it).
Sure, if a team wants more than you're willing to pay there are other options, but using the exact pick you refused to trade? Madness.
Also would not believe a word that Sam Edmund says.

Fwiw no I don't think he's worth 8 in a straight swap, and would be more than happy giving back 48 (I'd expect us to have to give back a 2nd).
