Man, I feel bad for Simmo. Like him as a bloke and he’s been a fantastic coach. Time comes everyone, but I hope he’s rightly heralded and treated as a respected club figure going forward.

From what I understand it’s 75% tax (down from 150%). Perhaps we could backend the next coach’s contract so we can absorb the hit next year without paying more.

Gut feel is he will coach this weekend then step away with Schofield to take the reigns for the rest of the season

But he deserves a huge amount of respect for what he has achieved here.
