Think his contract is till the end of 24.Our saviour is contracted until the end of 2025, so he is unlikely to be moved on next year, even if we are 0-11.
I assume he is on good coin also so we would be looking at a 1.5mill plus payout.

Long thought to be end of 2024 but that was incorrect information reported across the industry and not corrected by West Coast.Think his contract is till the end of 24.

If the club dosent sort out the medical/S&C and related areas Simmo would have every right to walk. Thats you CEO.The decision to extend simmo to 3
2025 may come under scrutiny next year when we're 0-10 and fielding 12 premiership players.
Surely Simmo has some control over it? It just looks like the senior players have just wanted to take short cuts and not put in the hard work required since the flag. Not only fitness but attitude. The amount of times I see Gov giving the umpires the look like he's hard done by (when he isn't) says a lot. It's a mindset. Part entitlement, part excuses, and all "I just don't want to do the hard work and win at all costs".If the club dosent sort out the medical/S&C and related areas Simmo would have every right to walk. Just heard that Scott Morrison secretly signed a 3 year deal as co- coach of the Eagles in 2020…it all begins to make sense…The decision to extend simmo to 3

Surely you saw a completely different mindset in our last game as compared to the beginning of the season? Effort and skillsets have quadrupled and we are playing 6 or 7 young bloods and could turn this around as soon as next season with skillfull drafting.Surely Simmo has some control over it? Simmo surely has the power to;
1. Put it on his senior players and ask why they have skin folds
2. Play them in the 2's until they are AFL fit
3. Go and speak to the S&C and demand minimum standards.
What has transpired between 2019 and 2022 - the buck stops at the coach. We can't even pin this on Sam Mitchell.
And to be fair 6-7 new bloods is way different to half a dozen top ups off the street. My gut feel is that the club has reset and is now on the right track. Time will tell if this is well executed.Surely you saw a completely different mindset in our last game as compared to the beginning of the season? I'm just glad our club isn't like Essendon, one bad loss and they throw everything out of the cot.
Sure be we still fat.Surely you saw a completely different mindset in our last game as compared to the beginning of the season? Effort and skillsets have quadrupled and we are playing 6 or 7 young bloods and could turn this around as soon as next season with skillfull drafting.
I was actually waiting for someone to come in here saying “Essendon have won seven games and they’ve sacked their president and coach, why aren’t we doing that??”
So the team below us plus the two above us have now sacked their coach…
Ours has a sneaky unannounced year added to his contract somewhere when we have the worst year in club history and are in a fake rebuild where all bar one over 30 player on our list has retired and the rest will no doubt be in our starting line up for round 1 unless something drastic happens because of credits and refusing to make the tough calls.
Why do we want to "turn it around"? We want to build a team capable of winning a flag don't we?
Essendon's hierarchy historically has been a bit deluded about the state of the club and their list. They seem to overrate their players and expect results that are unlikely.I'm just glad our club isn't like Essendon, one bad loss and they throw everything out of the cot.
No, but they're not always the same. These things are mutually exclusive.?
Can't live in the past CC. Forgive and forget because it is nearly 2023 season. But it doesn't change what happened in 2019 - 2021.
I have to agree with Miguel here, "turning it around" means to me we are on the improve. As i said earlier, if we draft well and move on a couple and maybe next year is looking different already. And to think we can turn it around next year? Why do we want to "turn it around"? I'm not bothered about the past - what happened, happened and we can't change it. I'm also in the "lets play it out and see what happens" boat. But I still think that's a massive shortfall on Simmos behalf and wonder if he has what it takes going forward. Can't live in the past CC. Forgive and forget because it is nearly 2023 season.

For mine the team has made a complete turnaround and we will become a functioning unit next year. Maybe not finals yet but the year after (2024)
Simmo has the players behind him.
Mods - can we get a poll added to this thread?
Biggie I'll give you a mean reach-around if you do....
Some suggestions for responses:
- I am a Simmo sycophant/fanboi
- SMitch won the Premiership
- Trevor Nesbitt is to blame
- COVID/Injuries ruined the season
- Jack Watts
- Too many >30's
- Learning new gameplan
- Collective Minds camp required this pre-season to toughen the boys up
Nojust make it simple, contract aside do you want Simpson to coach next year. Yes or no.
Don’t forget to put Synergy in there somewhere, vitally important whatever it actually is.Mods - can we get a poll added to this thread?
