Wow Collingwood are actually going to give us a nice pick.

Very charitable of them
and you GWS supporters thought we'd try to stiff you. We're doing everything in our power to ensure you are adequately compensated.:p Should he choose to leave and choose us of course.

While Treloar is a gun reckon GWS would be content to lose him in the same way it was ok to lose Boyd.

Yes they are good players but they fall below the likes of Shiel, Coniglio and Cameron, who are the 'must keeps'. Players like Treloar, Tyson, Boyd and even a guy like Hoskin-Elliott who has signed up are terrific young players but when push comes to shove the absolute cream will be Shiel, Coniglio, Cameron, Patton if fit and Kelly for me.

So while GWS will try keep Treloar, I imagine there will be a specific, strict limit on how much his salary could be. Going to the Pies on a huge salary with a long term deal will still give Treloar a flag shot as well as setting himself up for life so can't blame him.

Surely Richmond is in the box seat now if Treloar wants finals success at a big club, looks like Collingwood's rebuild is nowhere as successful or completed as everyone thought.

Huh? The rebuild they are still currently undertaking?

Scharenberg made his debut yesterday, De Goey and Moore are in their first seasons, Grundy and Witts are still developing, Elliott and Fasolo are 23 and Langdon, Williams, Oxley and Maynard have played about 100 games between them. Let's not forget Adams, Broomhead, Crisp, Freeman and Frost.

Treloar will be fine if he wants finals success at Collingwood. I mean, I don't get why he's leaving GWS for finals anyway - he could just wait a year or 2 there.

Collingwood will likely lose Schraneberg at end of the season even if they miss out Treloar. I honestly doubt Collingwood's future is as rosy as most people think, far fro. It.

So if we get treloar we have a bright future if we miss out on him we are screwed. Treloar must be god

I highly doubt we will lose Scharanberg.

Just been Media just saying he MIGHT leave just on he has not re-signed yet

oh gee a carlton fan not thinking our future is very bright, what a shock. You probably had us missing finals during the 2010 preseason

Politely disagree. Cameron was a must keep, but at the start of the year Treloar would have been #2 and even now I'd have him on par with Shiel at #2, a fair gap above the likes of Coniglio and others.
