He was quite bullish about staying a couple of months ago, the longer it goes might mean he is leaving.
I'd have bet my aggotts he'd be the first to re-sign.
Now I say he's gone.
Amazing what the almighty dollar and poor advice does to a kids frame of mind.

I actually haven't, I know a close friend of Adam and he has been linked with a move to Carlton, I cannot reveal my source though
Looks like it then. GWS couldn't match the 5 years @ $800k/year but will be very happy to get pick 2 from Carlton that they can use to draft Weitering. They can then trade out one of their other high draft pick KPD from recent drafts to another team in return for a top 10 pick.

Treloar to Carlton is a win/win. Treloar won't need to worry about getting showered with Powerade in his first win with the new club for a very long time!

We trade out a KPD that takes years to develop for another KPD that is further behind?

Can someone tell me what the hell North have to offer GWS to satisfy them in a trade deal ? Richmond can offer a McBean or Corey Ellis type along with their 1st rounder for Treloar (Lennon is now an untouchable for the Tigers I would have thought) ditto the Pies with a Witts or Kennedy, or perhaps their first rounder plus Adelaide's Dangerfield compo pick for Schranberg if he decides to return home)

NM just have no attractive trade assets or draft picks to engineer a trade for a big name like Treloar.

If he goes to Tigerland we'll be looking at this & next years first rounders and a Vlaustin/Ellis type player. He ain't coming cheap.

And if you think he is...You must be a St Kilda fan...

You wont be getting two first rounders and ellis/vlastuin, he is no beams/judd.
Two first rounders would get the deal done or two first rounders and maybe an astbury/mcdonough type.

Astbury, yes please. He was the other one I was racking my brain trying to think of.

We're pretty fair at trade time, you guys will find that out soon enough

No, I still believe that he'll either stay at GWS or go to Collingwood, not convinced yet he's gone yet. The Pies form slump will help The Giants (well it can't hurt) in terms of AT staying or getting a better first rounder from The Pies

He is uncontracted.
If he nominates us he has a lot more say at where he wants to go than a contracted player.
He can threaten to walk to the PSD (i doubt that will happen though)
IMO he will go to the Pies. We wont give up C.Ellis, Vlaustin or Lennon.

If you think we would let go Corey Ellis and our first rounder for Treloar you are dreaming. Treloar is nice but our main need is a Motlop type. I would be more then happy for my club, if they could secure Motlop to go hunting a big body mid like a Miles from either GWS or GCS discards.
