Not bad

Overall the mock-ups that bring in the original head improve it. And those that reshape/de clutter the wings

I’d still like to see a curved top wing as further nod to the original

I just will find it very hard to understand - if the club cannot see a way to add some modern touch-ups to this logo, when they have the Gather Round response in their little marketing memory banks.

This logo is so much more professional than what we have now - and the Mascot logo is also great as an additional marketing tool. Remember when everyone had one of those:

I loved all those logos, maybe a gather round gimmick could be every club getting one of these re-done and get some merch surrounding these old school logos and gather round

Also might be my eyesight but the very narrow red and yellow outlines give off a blended orange look

Just feels like a marketing agency put this together having collated market research but never seen a game of football, and the board doesn't realise its okay to say 'not good enough, try again'

I've been involved in rebranding exercises with agencies before and you say no several times before landing on something that works.

I can't imagine anyone involved at AFC would look at that and think its the right option

As much as I don't like the chicken head, I can see why they picked it. Its just a copy of the ravens logo at the end of the day

Given the AI abominations posted in this thread, I'm not sure putting a new logo to a vote is a great idea either. There's no accounting for taste.

They got it right the first time, the original logo was easily the best.

Anything new should be a minor (preferably very minor) refresh of that.

100%.

I guarantee if the club posted any single one of those horrific AI creations that receive a "Better than what the club put out" replies, it would be blasted with vitriol. Hell, half of them look like half-brothers to our current logo that we all hate but all of a sudden because a fan created them with AI instead of the club we're like "Hmmm, not bad."

On first look at the new logo, I wasn't in love, but I definitely thought it looked good enough to use. It's bold, simple, and striking. But now having seen 20 alternative AI creations, it's a lot better than I thought.
