Yep the Carlton logo is awful. Their previous one was much better.

Also think the Eagles, Lions and North logos are great, definitely above C tier

I googled it and I think the wreath on the old one looks a fair bit better.

The monochrome one looks like it works well on clothing ... the colour matching might prove a problem for the three-colour!!

Im sold on it, 48 hours on and i think its strong. look at it up against the other 17 logos. its pretty good.

It actually stands out as a bit unique. The rest look quite cartoony and same same, either shields or crests.
Glad we don't have a shield, and that it's a bit more abstract.
And you're right, initially I was ok with it, now I kind of love it. The dark colours, the angles. Looks mean.

Got my first proper look last night , this might be unpopular but my thoughts so far

Pros

- Angular design
I actually think this is best part, makes it a modern and distinctive while being minimalistic

- Original, bolder colours
Speaks for itself

- Having the tri-colours as part of the wing

- The beak
it’s nothing special but I like it

- name is just Adelaide
Not a big thing but I like it, keeps it tidier and the bird speaks for itself. Don’t is decent too.

Take it or leave it

- The claws
They’re very meh

- SA map in the logo

Cons

- The ‘double tail’
I’m a bit confused what’s going on here tbh. I can’t tell if this is meant to be a split in the tail or if the upper part is meant to be part of the wing or an extension to the body.

Whatever it’s supposed to be , it looks weird and sloppy. Its hard to tell where the body ends and the wings/tail begin.

- The wing design
Don’t mind the idea of having the ‘feathers’ overlap but this version looks clumsy, and the slits between them are too big.


Conclusion

There’s some good ideas here but poor to mediocre execution.

I still like this design then most other fan made ones, and that includes the one from baldandbroke (sorry). I think his more rounded design made it look more bland.

I’d love version of someone keeping the sharper angles but tidying the wing/tail.

Overall I give it 5.5/10. I think it will grow on me, but it will never greater than 7/10.

We had a bottom 4 logo with the seal (generous) ... this new official robo-crow version is waaaaay better but as someone that has been through these types of branding jobs many times, it has some serious questions in the "why did this make it through the process" column.

Look, like a lot have said - happy to move on and get back to complaining about our rubbish team selection policies and match day coaching!!!

Let's get ready to nail the draft and hopefully hit the start of 2025 with a bit of forward momentum.

Look, we are talking maybe 2 hours of rough changes. I'm not holding it up as a deployable finished product - I just was so annoyed by the lazy design.

The logo is done, we can move on.

Here we go, here we go Robo-Crows ... with a sort of snake-head (not a seal-head), terrible 3-D elements, no body and a hidden map!

Im filthy at your post, because now everytime I see the logo I cant get this Raygun image out of my head, lol.

The best logo in my opinion, I have seen on here is Scorpus avatar.
