To be fair, Guthrie's last quarter was pretty good. Shame his first three quarters were absolutely putrid though.

That is because he was moved onto the ball. He is not a defender and never has been.

Getting sick of being the club that others play themselves into form against. Collingwood, Freo and Hawthorn been doing it for years. Essendon and Adelaide so far this season. Take away Buzzas dropped sitters, Guthrie’s constant score involvements for the Crows and some of the worst skills I’ve seen from the Cats and we’d have won comfortably.
Parfitt was atrocious, Blicavs not much better down back (ball in hand) and the usual suspects doing sweet **** all defensively, as usual.
Good were Dangers game, Hawkins and Narkle. That’s it.
Had them covered even with all the bullshit bravado over Sloan and we fluffed it.
Just like we did vs Hawks. Eagles. Tigers. Swans. Dogs.

Um kelly? Had a couple of bad kicks but sh** his ability to win the ball and then break lines was phenomenal. We lose by 8 goals without kelly. Easily our best.

Found a player in Narkle, will be a very good player for us. Super disappointed in Menz, Blitz, Duncan (couple squibs) Buzza, Guthrie and Chris Scott. The year is all but gone, even if we scrape into the finals everyone knows to bring the pressure and we are screwed. Looking forward to the season end to be honest, really disappointing year.

I’m not sparing any thoughts for Gary right now, not when he could be doing a bit more to help himself also, inconsistent attack on the footy and the man, lazy shots at goal, lazy disposal at times like a few of his teammates.

There’s a few experienced players that should be a little embarrassed with their efforts compared to Tim Kelly, who was consistently clean under pressure.
